On April 15th, Hu Shan, the director of the Research Office of the China Textile Industry Federation and the director of the China Textile Economic Research Center, led a team to Pingxiang to conduct research on the development of the textile industry and hold a symposium for exchanging views on textile industry planning. Representatives from various departments and textile enterprises also conducted discussions and exchanges on issues such as industrial upgrading and technological transformation.
Hua Shan said that the textile industry in Pingshan is developing vigorously. It should draw on the experience of advanced regions and focus on strengthening factor guarantees, financial support, innovation platforms and talent support to solve development problems. To activate the value of the entire industrial chain, deeply explore the demands in specific fields, and cultivate the core competitiveness of industrial clusters. At the same time, seize the opportunity of the increase in consumption in the southwest region, improve supply chain support, leverage the cultural resources of Sichuan and Ba-Shu, and promote the integration of the Pingshan planning into the high-quality development of the national textile industry with "technology, fashion, green and health" characteristics. Guo Bing said that the textile industry is the core support for the transformation and development of Pingshan County and a key measure for enriching the people and strengthening the county. Pingshan County has set the goal of building a "hundred-billion industry manufacturing powerhouse in the eastern and western regions" and is focusing on creating the core area of the Yibin hundred-billion textile industry. It is concentrating on improving efficiency and effectiveness, resolving bottlenecks in the industrial chain, promoting the transformation of the industry towards high-end, intelligent and green, continuously optimizing the business environment and strengthening enterprise-friendly services, so as to rejuvenate the traditional textile industry and cultivate new growth points.
